Friends Only

Today, a terribly scary thing happened. Thomas took me shopping. And we bought presents. I think we bought presents for the entire population of Great Britian...Liz had me do her annual gift buying for the children's shelter that's connected to the women's shelter she volunteers at. That felt lovely. I had to bring Thomas along though, because he is a child so he was able to give me an insider's point of view. Then we proceeded to buy gifts for everyone we know and some people we don't.

I was thinking, because so many of you have familes that are far away, would you all like to come to a Christmas dinner at my house? We could make it on Christmas Eve so everyone that couldn't do it on Christmas could come too. I could think of no better way to spend the holiday than with all of you. And you just might be able to watch me destroy a turkey...ahem. Let me know if you're interested. I think it will be fantastic. I'll even make eggnog! That's something I do know how to do!
